For well over a decade we have been proudly showcasing Tomintoul and Glencadam Single Malts. Owning these two distinct single malt distilleries Angus Dundee Distillers has a strong reputation and a growing number of awards, including multiple gold and double gold medals at the International Spirits Challenge for its Tomintoul and Glencadam whiskies.

Founded in 1825 Glencadam Distillery, located in the ancient city of Brechin (45 miles drive from Ballater) in the Eastern Highlands of Scotland, is known for maintaining traditional, unchanged production methods for nearly two centuries, including using two pot stills since its inception.

Tomintoul Distillery (second by distance from Ballater) founded 1965, set in the heart of Scotland’s Cairngorms National Park. The name Tomintoul comes from Scotland's highest village just a few miles away. Tomintoul distillery has gained a reputation for producing laid-back, mellow whiskies, hence their tagline is 'The Gentle Dram'.

Angus Dundee Distillers is privately owned independent Scotch whisky producer with a global reach distinguishing itself by combining its traditional Scottish heritage with a forward-looking expansion plan. 200th anniversary of its Glencadam Distillery was marked with the opening of the new visitor centre. The distillery with its unique stills maintains traditional methods, using wooden washbacks and traditional condensers, which gives its whisky an authentic and old-school character.
