Famous Grouse Highland Decanter (70cl, 40%)
Famous Grouse Scotch Blended Whisky in The Famous Grouse Highland Decanter genuine Wade porcelain gilded in 24 Carat Gold. This discontinued Famous Grouse Highland decanter depicts the Red Grouse in its natural habitat in ‘Summer in the Highlands’ by the Scottish Artist Stanley Todd.
Created in 1896 by Mathew Gloag, it was initially called the Grouse Blend but the 'Famous' prefix was added in 1905 after the success of the brand. Owned by the Edrington Group, it is stablemates with Highland Park and Macallan and was awarded the Royal Warrant in 1984. The blenders still work by the same four fundamentals as they always have: foundation (sticking to the Gloag family traditions); finest (keeping up the high quality); flavour (creating aroma through maturation); and fusion (perfecting the ideal blend).
