Bronte Original Unique Yorkshire Liqueur from 1980s (75cl, 34.25%)

This is a legendary original bottling of french brandy with honey blended in Yorkshire presented in a stoneware decanter produced by The Bronte Liqueur Co Ltd (Leeds) in 1980s.

This historic Yorkshire Brand Brontë Liqueur originally created in the 1960s as a homage to the Brontë sisters. The brand was relaunched by Sir James Aykroyd. Sir James Aykroyd, who lives in Birstwith, North Yorkshire, has revived Brontë Liqueur, a tipple he first discovered some 40 years ago during a business trip to Paraguay, South America. Sir James was formerly chairman and a shareholder of Speyside Distillery, he donates money from the sale of every bottle to support the work of the Brontë Society. His great-grandfather Sir James Roberts bought the Brontës’ former home in Haworth, West Yorkshire, and gifted it to the Brontë Society to become the Brontë Parsonage Museum.
