An 18 year old blend from Japanese producer Chugoku Jozo.

Unusually, this is not a Japanese whisky at all. it is a blend of Scottish malt and Canadian grain whiskies. According to current Japanese law, the whisky becomes naturalised once the relevant tax and duties have been paid, allowing bottlers to refer to it as Japanese whisky. This whisky was aged in a tunnel rather than a warehouse. The name comes from where the tunnel is located, in the town of Togouchi, which merged with two other towns to create a larger town called Akiota.
