A 1996-vintage Bowmore, from a transitional period in the distillery's life where it was starting to produce a style of spirit that it has been well-known for over the past fifty years: fruity fruity whisky. 

A Hunter Laing bottling of Bowmore single malt, matured in a refill hogshead for 21 years. This was distilled on the Isle of Islay in December 1996, and left to mature until March 2018, when it was bottled with an outturn of 300 bottles for the Old Malt Cask range.
