Bottle No 240. Cask No 3010. Vintage 2004. Bottled in 2017 for Highgrove House, the official home of Prince Charles. Highgrove contributes some of it's profits to the Prince of Wales' charitable foundation.
Famous for being one of the most richly flavoured malt scotch whiskies, the Laphroaig 12-year-old single malt whisky is selected and bottled exclusively for Highgrove. Distilled from Scottish malt barley it is grown in Inverness-shire and matured in a single, individually numbered, first-use Bourbon cask, each hand-selected by the Malt Master. An utterly unforgettable taste, Laphroaig uniquely uses a cold-smoking process to flavour the malted barley in peat fired kilns before it is dried. Laphroaig whisky is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, the same way it has been since it was first bottled in 2007 and released in 2008.
