Released in September 2022, this was part of a trio of inaugural releases from the distillery which included this ex-bourbon cask matured single malt, alongside an oloroso sherry finish and an ex-Rioja wine cask finished expression.This 3-year-old heavily peated whisky has been aged in ex-Bourbon casks and is one of 10,000 bottles.

Lagg distillery is the second to have been built on the island and like the first, was built by Isle of Arran Distillers. Construction of the facility and visitor centre began in 2017 and the first spirt was cut at 14:35 on Tuesday 19th March 2019. Lagg focusses on the production of peated single malt, a counter-balance to the traditionally un-peated make of its sister distillery at Lochranza (although it has produced both styles). An experimental producer, it has plans to conduct investigations into the effects of peat and different yeast strains in its whisky making prosses. The facility has the capacity to produce 5,000,000 litres per year.
