This magnificent 40 year old undisclosed Speyside single malt whisky was bottled in 2011 and released exclusively in UK Aldi stores. Following the success story of the Glen Marnoch, this was another Aldi supermarket bottling at an incredible age - 40 years old! 

The Speyside Single Malt comes from one of Scotland’s finest distilleries and has been matured in European Oak Sherry casks, resulting in a very intense and rich flavour. The beautiful decanter is presented in a stylish gift box.

This limited edition received high praise and understandably sold out very quickly immediately upon release, with only 3000 bottles produced and 450 stores country wide to distribute them around, there were to be only 6 bottles for most of the stores.
