Balblair 1991 Vintage 27 Year Old (bottled 2018) (70cl, 46%) ***sold***
The third release of Balblair's 1991 vintage is 27 year old, this time bottled in 2018. Matured in ex-bourbon casks for 24 years, before being transferred to ex-sherry butts for a further three.
Balblair Distillery, established in 1790, is the second oldest functioning distillery in all of Scotland and is located near the town of Edderton in the Northern Higlhands.
A rarity, the Single Malt Balblair 1991, aged for 27 years presents itself with an out-of-the-ordinary elegance, a very pure spirit, with an antique gold color, decadent and sensual, a unique pleasure for demanding palates.
