Limited Release of 4000 bottles this stunning single malt whiskey from the Japanese White Oak distillery was matured for five years; two years in Spanish sherry butts and three further years in hogsheads, before being bottled un-chillfiltered at an ABV of 46% and with no artificial colouring. This Akashi White Oak Single Malt is a non-age statement release.

Akashi is the name given to the the single malt produced at the Eigashima distillery. The site is often also referred to as the White Oak distillery, after the blend it produces. Because demand for White Oak is so high, most Eigashima single malt is reserved for this, so Akashi is quite rare.
